LIFE IS A FIGHT! FIGHT IT!!

LIFE IS A FIGHT! FIGHT IT!!

Deuteronomy 2:24
Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

Life generally is a fight.
It takes a fight to take a flight in this life. Fighters are flyers.
You can't afford to be lethargic, tired, weak and lazy. You can't stop around here and talk about cucumber and garlic.
There is a river Jordan to cross; a wall of Jericho to take down.
There is a wilderness to navigate through before you enter into your promised land.
Just like the children of Israel in the wilderness cried and preferred to return back to Egypt’s slavery because they missed eating cucumber and garlic. Many people are yet to come to terms with the fact that they need to leave the past behind them and move ahead.

They fail to realise that the things behind them are tiny matters compared to what is before them. There is a fight before you to fight if you must become all you were created to be.

My prayer for you, is that you will understand the fight of life and maximize your God-given power.

YOU ARE NOT A COWARD, YOUR VICTORY HAS BEEN DECIDED! FACE IT, FIGHT!!

Your portion in life is determined by your battles in life. You take possession by contention.

Deuteronomy 2:24
Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

The spirit of greatness is a fighting spirit.
It takes a fighting spirit to stay over the battles that comes with purposeful living.
The choice to live out your purpose in this life comes with more than enough opposition.
Things you know about and circumstances you didn’t envisage will come up against you.
People will rise up suddenly against you and what you are up for, the moment you decide to walk the path of your God-given purpose.
Situations and incidences that could weaken your resolve and sap your energy and zeal will begin to show up around you.
But you've got to be resolute and adamant, unbreakable and impenetrable. You need to imbibe the conduct of a purpose-driven person.
You need to stand unshakable and resilient until your assignment in this life is accomplished.

I see how some people play stubborness in the wrong places and over the wrong things, and yet chicken out when the real need for stubbornness shows up. This scenario is just like you being a good neighborhood street fighter which pays you nothing; instead of getting into the boxing or wrestling ring and using your God-given strength and love for fighting to make some money for yourself and for your loved ones.
Take that fight to the right place; give your fighting ability to the right course.

It is true that the Lord has promised you a glorious future but there are giants on the way to stop you. Defeating them and moving forward requires a fight of faith.

You have an appointed place by God in destiny, but it's not without confrontations.
There's more ahead of you to live for and fight to possess than there is that you've lost. A lot of people are locked up and trapped in their past failures and defeats. They have withdrawn into their shells and now live in the caves of fear and self pity, hoping that the world should come to an abrupt end. Unfortunately, things don't end when we experience failures and defeat. That’s why you've got to stand up, kit yourself up, break camp and cross over whatever your Arnon river or valley is. Fight it; fight him (whatever your it / him is, for we all have ours) and then take your possession

Deuteronomy 2:24 (God's Word Translation)
The LORD continued, "Now break camp. Cross the Arnon Valley. I'm going to hand King Sihon of Heshbon, the Amorite, over to you. Fight him, and take possession of his country.

It's time to break camp. Break camp from the things and people who limit your potentials. There is an Arnon valley to cross. King Sihon of Heshbon and his land will not be given into the hand of someone who is too nice and gentle to fight for the destiny he or she believes for, someone who will not break out from limiting company or habits.

The Lord has given the king and his land into your hands, now ARISE, FIGHT HIM AND TAKE POSSESSION OF HIS COUNTRY!

May an unusual boldness of the spirit to take your portion, come upon you today in Jesus Name.
